The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and even includes an item from one of his vehicles.
The model is ordered with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. used as his personal car. The influence of the car can be observed in the cabin. For instance the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet comes with a display with a piece of the 8 Litre crankshaft that is displayed inside.
bentley bentayga key include a chrome application running backwards along the side of the vehicle, with a photoetched B-shaped air vent that incorporates W.O. The signature of the owner front grille that's modeled on the 1930s-appropriate Onyx color of the limited edition, and a chrome-colored application that wraps around the lower spoilers, left and right. The front grille also features distinct design, featuring a chrome-colored mesh replacing the body-color mesh of the Mulsanne. It also has the Flying B Logo.
A key box with the Bentley wings holds two keys and is adorned with black flock lining, while individual key pouches are also available to complement or contrast the key box. The set commemorative also includes a bespoke 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and the paperweight that flies with the letter 'B and a printed brochure that features never-before-seen photos of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
The Bentley Wing Key Box
This accessory is ideal for Bentley owners and enthusiasts. It comes with a unique key box embossed in Bentley wings. The item comes in a giftbox with tissue paper and makes an excellent gift for birthdays, Christmas, or other special occasions.
The knurling of the metal-to-metal key fob mimics textures found in the interior of the car, such as the controls for temperature in the seat as well as the shift knob. Van Braekel says, "We wanted the knurling to be as consistent and stylish" as is possible. It was crucial to keep the dimensions and shape of the fob in line with the same shape and size.
Bentley Mulliner customers are able to specify any color from the Bentley portfolio, as well any combination of hides or veneers, and bespoke embroidery. Bentley's signature diamond in diamond quilting is applied to the entire cabin with around 400,000 stitches. The mood lighting can also be adjusted to accommodate different moods.
Outside illuminated treadplates and clocks made of brushed silver are offered as standard. New 22in wheels are self-levelling Bentley logos. Customers can also request their own bespoke Bentley logo laser-etched on the rear fixing, in a nod to the 1930 8 Litre W.O. Edition that was the inspiration for the car. The Bentley Wing Key Pouches
Bentley's 'Speed' series is a bit of an eye-opener taking the Continental GT's already exaggerated excess and turning it up to eleven. It's not all about the gorgeous exterior or the extra food options -- there's as well the mechanical upgrades, like the reworked air suspension and a stiffer steering that make the car less floppy than what you'd think of in a car of this size.
As you would expect from a British luxury brand manufacturing of Bentley cars is done at Crewe. The factory is fully integrated- all aspects of the car's design, engineering, production and quality are housed on a single site. The main building is called CW1 House and is home to the Bentley Boutique, which sells more than 130 items from the Bentley Collection range.
